WATER CHESTNUT WRAPS 
1 lb. sliced bacon
2 cans whole water chestnuts
1 lb. dark brown sugar
Catsup
Toothpicks

1. Cut each bacon slice in thirds.

2. Drain water chestnuts.

3. Pour enough brown sugar over chestnuts to cover.

4. Let soak 30 minutes or longer

5. Wrap chestnuts in bacon and close end with toothpick.

6. Put on cookie sheets and cover again with brown sugar and catsup. Let sit.

7. Bake in 350 degree oven until bacon is crisp.

8. May be made ahead and reheated briefly in microwave oven.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
