MICROWAVE POTATOES 
2 lg. potatoes
1 sweet Texas onion
1/4 c. water
1 tbsp. butter

Wash and thinly slice potatoes and onion into a microwave safe bowl. Add water and dot with butter. Cook covered on High for 12 minutes, turning twice. Remove lid and cover with 4 slices of cheese. Replace lid and let stand until cheese melts.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
