PEACH COBBLER 
Line a deep baking pan with good pie dough. Wash and peel ripe cling peaches, leave the stones, cutting a slice off each side that they may lay flat in the cobbler, cover bottom of pan with the peaches, add a good tablespoon of flour and a cup of sugar. Place thin strips of the dough over this and add another layer of peaches, adding the sugar and flour as before. Pour over this 1/2 pint hot water, cover with dough and bake. Is delicious. Apple Cobbler is made in the same way.
