MIDNIGHT DELIGHT 
2 c. crushed pretzels, finely chopped
3/4 c. melted butter
2-3 tbsp. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
2 c. boiling water
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries (or fresh)
1 (6 oz.) can drained crushed pineapple (optional)

Mix pretzels, melted butter, 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar together and spread evenly in 9"x13" pan. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Let cool.

Blend softened cream cheese, 1 cup confectioners; sugar and Cool Whip. Spread over pretzel mixture. Combine gelatin and boiling water. Stir until gelatin dissolved. Add strawberries and pineapple. Let chill at least 10 minutes or until slightly thickened. Spread over cheese mixture and chill until set, about 1 hour.
