BOLOGNA SANDWICH
Buy some ham or bologna (one pack) and some bread (one loaf) and buy a little jar of mustard. Then you make yourself a bologna sandwich. Put the bread down on the table, put the bologna on it. Spread the mustard on the bologna. Put another piece of bread on the bologna, then eat it with some milk. Then clean up.

HAS to be white bread. HAS to have butter. HAS to be dipped into ketchup! YUM!

 Vicki yoak (Kentucky) says:
Sounds good...but is better if the mustard is lightly spread on the bread rather than on the "meat".

Try this for a really good bologna burger. take two slices of bologna and put a slice or two of Swiss cheese on the bottom piece. Cover with the second piece of bologna. Spray some Pam in a small iron skillet and place the bologna in the pan. Fry slowly over low heat one side and then flip over and fry the other side. You want to do this until the cheese melts. When done, place on a piece of white bread, spread mustard on top of bologna and then cover with other slice of bread. Cut in half and you have a wonderful bologna and cheese sandwich.

I love bologna, but grind it with eggs, pickles etc. Use Mayo and mix. Spread on bread. Delicious.

What makes it the best is use white bread, put mustard on slice of bread, put on bologna, put thinly sliced onion on top of the bologna, then potato chips on onion then second slice of bread, smash a little and enjoy!

Unlike many of you, I've never fried the bologna. I like to take two slices of bread, any kind, usually what we have is multigrain bread. Then you stick them in the toaster, take them out and immediately (so they're still really hot) slather them with mayo, add two slices of turkey bologna. The crunchy bread, warm mayo, and cold soft bologna makes for a very nice set of tastes and textures.

 Martha (South Carolina) says:
Fry bologna until charred - almost burnt. Get 2 pieces fresh white bread - slather both pieces with mayonnaise (we use Dukes here in the south) - put bologna on mayo - then put sandwich together...heaven!!

I am sure all these recipes are really great because I have tried many of them. But in hurry a plain ole unfried piece of bologna in between two slices of bread is wonderful.

Road Trip Bologna Sandwich

White Bread
Bologna..thin sliced

Put loaf of white bread in the sun on the dashboard of your vehicle
Place package of bologna likewise.

When bologna is sufficiently greasy, de-rind and place in between two pieces of white bread.. Amuse yourself by biting sandwich into various shapes, preferably different states..
