BOLOGNA SANDWICH
Buy some ham or bologna (one pack) and some bread (one loaf) and buy a little jar of mustard. Then you make yourself a bologna sandwich. Put the bread down on the table, put the bologna on it. Spread the mustard on the bologna. Put another piece of bread on the bologna, then eat it with some milk. Then clean up.

Use at least a 2 day old cinnamon bun. Slice in half. Mayo on the bottom 1/2, then stack thick slice of blaogna, thick slice Velveta Cheese, another slice of blogna, couple bread & butter picles. Top with other 1/2 of bun. Micro wave till cheese melts. Great with cold glass of milk. (Cold beer might work too!)

Ask the deli dept. to slice 1 or 2 slices three times thicker than you normally would buy, and fry some onions, then fry the baloney on both sides, put on bread and add fried onions and some mustard. That's good eating!!!

In the NC mountains you can get fried bologna everywhere. Get a slab thick as your pinky grilled on the flat-top till its got a brown crust with chow-chow and collards. That's good eatin.

If you don't have bread, here 's what you do: open fridge door, take baloney slice out of packet and roll up. Dip into mustard or Mayo, taking swigs of orange juice between bites straight from the Carton. Repeat til you feel you can make it to the store for bread. Is best when you prop open fridge door and lean on it while you eat and drink. This is straight from Ernest Matthew Mickler--God rest his soul!

I take a small roll of bologna. Hollow out the center fill with stuffing. Heat in oven slice and serve. The kids like it this way.

Have tried several of the listed versions for bologna sandwich. One I didn't see was suggested to me to try a long time ago. Take two pieces of white bread put mayo and bologna on one and peanut butter and your favorite jelly on the other and put both together. I thought it sounded gross but is actually pretty good.

Aaw all of you have it wrong! Here's the right way; Start with three slices of bread... one rye, one Whole Wheat, and one white (Wonder Bread). Use Bryan Bros THICK SLICED BOLOGNA (probably a local brand). Use both mustard and mayo. Assemble your sandwich any way you like, 'cause by this time you are starving or you wouldn't be eating bologna anyway. Wash it down with grape koolaid.

Love this recipe and comments. You have to start with the bologna. Sliced at the deli garlic bologna. Fry to your definition of doneness (little black around the edges is good). Two slices of Mrs. Bairds bread (large) and French's yellow mustard (a lot) on both slices of bread. A slice of bologna on each piece of bread and a slice of deli sliced American Cheese in between so it will melt. Yum Yum

Do it my way!! One very large buttermilk biscuit (4-5 inches across) slice thinly into 4 slices. Spread each slice with one of four different spreads, use your favorites or mine (mayo, homemade hot pepper jelly, mustard, and pimento cheese spread) add crispy cooked bacon to one layer, thin sliced onion to another, crispy bacon again. Toast assembled "baloney" sandwich in toaster oven for 3-5 minutes. (baloney not required)
