PECAN TURTLE COOKIES 
2 c. flour
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. whole pecan halves
2/3 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chocolate chips

Combine the flour, 1 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup butter in a food processor, process until well blended. Pat into 13x9 inch pan. Sprinkle the pecan halves over the unbaked crust.

Then combine the 2/3 cup butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar and cook over medium heat, stirring until mixture comes to a full boil. Boil one minute, stirring constantly. Pour over crust. Bake at 350 degrees 18-22 minutes until caramel layer is bubbly and crust is light golden brown.

Remove from oven and sprinkle with the chocolate chips. Allow to melt 2-3 minutes, then spread chocolate and cool. Cut into bars.
