MARINADE FOR VENISON 
1/2 c. teriyaki
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp. garlic powder or 1 clove, thinly sliced
1 1/2 - 2 lbs. venison steak fillets or chops
1/4 c. honey
1/2 c. water
1/8 tsp. white pepper

Combine all ingredients in glass or plastic bowl. Add meat and stir to coat all pieces. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Stir 2 or 3 times or about every 1/2 hour. Grill over low heat until just done, do not overcook.

Delicious marinade. Substituted low sodium soy sauce for teriyaki, since I was out of teriyaki.
Turned out great, even my kids were asking for seconds!
