OLD FASHIONED POTATO SOUP WITH
RIVELS
 
3 small potatoes, diced
1 c. hot water
1 c. flour
1 small onion, diced
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
1 tbsp. butter
salt and pepper to taste

Cook potatoes until soft. Add hot water and milk. Mix egg in flour until crumbly. Add crumbly mixture to boiling mixture and butter. Cook until rivels are done. Add diced onion and season to taste.
