CRISPY OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
2 c. corn flakes or wheat flakes
1 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 eggs
1 heaping c. white sugar
1 heaping c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine butter, shortening, vanilla, eggs and sugars. Add remaining ingredients mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. About 6 dozen cookies.
