1/3 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. packed light brown sugar
1/3 c. unsalted butter
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 c. unbleached flour
1 tsp. each soda, salt
3 c. miniature chocolate chips

Cream.....butter, sugars, butter and shortening in bowl. Beat......in eggs and vanilla. Sift......in dry ingredients, mixing well. Stir......in chocolate chips. Drop......by teaspoonfuls into cookie sheet. Bake......at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
