“SHERRY'S CHOCOLATE BLISS CHEESECAKE” IS IN:

SHERRY'S CHOCOLATE BLISS
CHEESECAKE
 
18 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
2 tbsp. butter, melted
3 (8 oz pkg each) lite cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg Bakers semi-sweet chocolate squares
3 eggs

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Melt chocolate squares and cool slightly.

In a bowl, mix cookie crumbs with butter. Press firmly onto the bottom of a large cheesecake pan with removable rim.

In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla with mixer. Add chocolate and mix well. Add eggs, one at a time. Pour over crust.

Bake 55 minutes to 1 hour or until center is almost set. Run knife around pan to loosen before removing rim. Refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.

I made this with Giardelli milk chocolate chips and it was the best cheesecake I have ever made. If you price the Baker's chocolate per ounce angainst Giardelli is is about 4 times as expensive and the latter is far superior. Thanks for the recipe Sherry!
