COMPANY'S COMIN' COOKIES | |
1 c. Parkay butter 1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. packed brown sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 3 c. old fashioned or quick oats, uncooked 1 c. chopped nuts Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add combined flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oatmeal and nuts. Shape dough into a roll 2 1/2 inches in diameter; wrap in aluminum foil. Freeze 2 hours. Cut roll into 1/4 inch slices; place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Approximately 4 dozen. |
