CRAZY CRUST PIE 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. water
2/3 c. shortening
1 egg

FILLING:

1 can pie filling (I use apple, lemon or cherry)

In small bowl, combine first 4 ingredients, then add the water, shortening and egg. Blend well at low speed, beat 2 minutes at medium speed. Spread in deep dish pie pan. Spread filling into center of batter. DO NOT STIR. Bake at 425 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes until crust is golden brown.
