SCALLOPED SWEET POTATOES AND
APPLES
 
2 c. boiled sweet potatoes, cooled
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. green label Karo
1 1/2 c. thinly sliced apples
4 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. salt

Cut sweet potatoes in 1/4 inch slices. Place one half of potatoes in a buttered baking dish; cover with 1/2 of apples. Sprinkle with 1/2 of sugar and 1/2 of syrup. Then make another layer same as before. Last, add salt and dot with butter.

Bake in oven 1/2 to 1 hour. When just about finished, add 1 tablespoon Tang or top with marshmallows. Bake at 350 degrees. Use of salt is a personal option.
