BUTTER NUT POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
4 c. plain or cake flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. butternut flavoring
1 c. chopped nuts

Cream butter and shortening with sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Alternate flour and milk; add flavoring and nuts. Put in cold oven set at 325 degrees. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.

ICING:

1 box confectioners sugar
3 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. milk

Beat until fluffy.
