NUT POUND CAKE | |
6 eggs 1/2 lb. butter 2 c. sugar 1 pt. sour cream 3 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla Cream butter and sugar. Add one egg at a time. Beat well after each egg. Sift flour, soda, salt, and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture on low speed. Add sour cream and vanilla. Mix together 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 2 cups nuts. Sprinkle between layers of batter. Put rest on top. Bake in tube or bundt pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour. |
