6 c. water 6 c. sugar 1/2 c. instant coffee 1/2 c. vanilla extract 1/2 gal. vodka Use a six to eight quart saucepan. Bring water to a boil and add coffee and sugar. Bring mixture to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for two hours. Don't let mixture boil over or stick to bottom of pan. Remove from heat and allow to cool completely. Pan may be placed in cool water to speed cooling process. Add vanilla and allow to stand for 12 hours. Add vodka and it's ready to bottle. |
