ALBONDIGAS 
1 lb. ground beef
1 garlic
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. masa harina or flour
1 egg
1 green chile
1/4 c. cooked rice
Cilantro to taste
Salt and pepper to taste

SOUP:

1 sm. onion
8 oz. whole tomatoes (1/2 lg. 16 oz. can)
1 green chile
1/4 c. cooked rice
Cilantro (to taste)
4-5 qts. hot water
Salt and pepper
1/2 c. tomato sauce (for color)

Mix all the ingredients for the meatballs. Roll into 1 inch diameter. Drop in hot water and add all the soup ingredients. Soup is done when meatballs are fully cooked. Serve with fresh flour tortillas with butter or crackers.
