KAHLUA 
5 lbs. sugar
10 oz. Folger's coffee crystals
10 oz. vanilla extract
4 vanilla beans
10 c. boiling water
2 qts. vodka or 1 qt. vodka and 1 qt. Everclear

To boiling water; add coffee crystals and sugar. Stir to melt. Set aside to cool. When cool; add cut-up vanilla beans, vanilla, and liquor; stir. Store in a tightly closed container for 90 days at room temperature. Shake often. Makes 3 quarts.
