6 c. water
5 c. sugar
7 tbsp. vanilla
2 oz. instant coffee, or preboiled regular coffee
1 qt. vodka

Bring water to boil in saucepan. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Add vanilla, coffee, and vodka. Remove from heat. Allow to cool. When cool, pour into empty vodka bottle and seal. Serve over ice with or without cream for a great after-dinner drink.
