KAHLUA 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 qt. water (4 c.)
10 tsp. instant coffee
1 c. dark Karo corn syrup
1 fifth 100 proof vodka
1 tsp. vanilla

Bring water and sugar to a boil, add coffee and corn syrup, cover and simmer 1 hour. Cool completely. Add vodka and vanilla. Stir and pour into bottles. (Makes about 2 fifties.)
