LONG JOHN SILVER FISH 
2/3 c. cornstarch
1 1/3 c. flour
1 egg
4 tbsp. malt vinegar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. water
1 tbsp. salt
1/2 tbsp. pepper
4 tbsp. sugar

Mix all ingredients well. Refrigerate overnight. Use cold. Deep fry fish in batter until done.
