OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 c. melted butter
6 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3 c. quick cooking oats

Mix milk and vinegar together first and set aside. Then mix ingredients in order given, mixing thoroughly. Shape into small balls, place on cookie sheet. Flatten each ball to about 1/8 inch thickness with wet spatula (or damp fingers). Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 10 minutes or unti barely brown around the edges. Remove as soon as you can without tearing up. Enjoy!
