“BAKED CRANBERRY PUDDING” IS IN:

BAKED CRANBERRY PUDDING 
1/4 cup shortening
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups cranberries, cut in halves
1/2 cup milk

Cream shortening and sugar, add egg and blend. Sift dry ingredients, add cranberries. Add, alternately with milk, to first mixture.

Bake in moderate oven, 350°F. for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with Brown Sugar Sauce.

Brown Sugar Sauce:

1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup water
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon vanilla

Combine sugar, flour, salt. water and butter. Cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened. Add vanilla.

Serve warm.
