1 c. quick oatmeal
2 heaping tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
Aluminum foil
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 tbsp. vanilla
1 egg, beaten

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter, add to egg and vanilla. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Line 2 cookie sheets with foil. Put 1/2 tablespoon of dough on foil 2 inches apart. Bake 7 minutes or until light brown. Must let cool then peel off cookies. Reline with new foil each time. Makes 3 dozen.
