JOHN'S MEAT ROLL 
2 lbs. ground beef
1/4 chopped onion
1/4 chopped green pepper
1/4 c. diced and/or shredded cheese (white or yellow)
1-2 eggs
1/4 c. flour

Mix thoroughly hamburger with eggs and flour. You may want to add Worcestershire sauce, soy or barbecue sauce for flavoring. Salt and pepper to taste. Press out in a rectangle at least 1" thick, width should ensure fitting in a loaf pan. Sprinkle onion, green pepper and cheese on top of hamburger. Roll up hamburger mixture so that it looks like a jelly roll. Squeeze ends sealed. Cook in oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees. May top with grated cheese and tomato/barbecue sauce. John suggests green chilies on top for last minute baking.
