CHICKEN NOODLE CASSEROLE 
2/3 pkg. Varmecelli Noodles
3 c. chicken, cut up
1 c. broth
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 sm. can mushrooms, drained
1 can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1/2 lb. sharp cheddar cheese (can use more)
1 med. onion, chopped
2 cans mushroom soup
1/4 c. pimento (optional)
1 tsp. salt
3 1/4 c. cooking sherry
1/2 c. green peppers

Cook and drain the noodles. Mix all of the ingredients together except for the cheese. Place in a 9 x 13 inch casserole dish. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Can sit overnight or for a day or 2. Serves 12.
