3 sticks butter or 2 butter & 1 butter 1 c. sugar 4 c. plain flour Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Stir in flour 1 cup at a time. You might have to knead in the last cup. Pat onto 2 jelly roll pans. Make it slightly thicker on the outside so that the middle will be done when edges are brown. Score or stamp with a cookie stamp. Bake 15-20 minutes or until edges begin to brown lightly. Watch Carefully. Makes 6 dozen. |
