CHEESECAKE BARS 
2 pkg. crescent rolls
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg, separated
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Spread 1 package crescent rolls in bottom of a buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Beat cream cheese, egg yolk, vanilla and 1 cup sugar together. Spread cheese mixture over crescent roll dough and top with other package of dough.

Beat egg white until foamy and spread on top of dough. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar and the chopped nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
