FLUFFY WHITE FROSTING 
1 c. granulated sugar
1/3 c. water
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Dash of salt
1 egg white
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, water, cream of tartar and salt in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Very slowly add sugar syrup to 1 unbeaten egg white in mixing bowl, beating constantly with electric mixer, until stiff peaks form. Beat in 1 teaspoon vanilla.

Frosts 1 tube cake.
