GRANDMA'S FLUFFY WHITE FROSTING | |
2 egg whites 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 1 tbsp. light corn syrup Dash of salt 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla Beat egg whites, sugar, water, corn syrup and salt over boiling water in double boiler for 7 minutes or until frosting will stand in stiff peaks. Use low speed just until mixed, then use high speed. Remove from water, add 1 1/4 teaspoons vanilla. Beat 1 more minute. Spread on your favorite cake. |
