CHESS PECAN CAKE 
1 lb. light brown sugar
2 sticks butter
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. white sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans

Melt butter. Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add butter and pecans. Bake in oblong pan at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
