CRANBERRY NUT BREAD 
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. grated orange peel
2 tbsp. salad oil
Juice of 1 orange
Water or additional orange juice
1 egg, beaten
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. raw cranberries, coarsely chopped

Sift together dry ingredients. Add and mix in sugar and orange peel. Place salad oil in measuring cup, add juice of 1 orange and fill to 3/4 cup with water or more orange juice. Stir lightly into dry ingredients. Add egg, mix in nuts and cranberries. Bake on greased 9x5 inch pan in preheated 350 degree oven for about 1 hour. Let stand for 10 minutes before removing from pan.
