CHICKEN CASSEROLE 
1 (2-3 lb.) chicken
1 can creamy mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. instant rice

Mix 1 cup of water with soup. Add cooked rice and stir well. Salt and pepper chicken; place over rice mixture. Cook at 350 degrees, covered for 1 hour. Uncover and spread chicken with butter and cook for 30 minutes longer.
