JOHNNY'S APPLE TURNOVER 
Apples, sliced
Fructose
1 tsp. cinnamon
Dash of salt

Butter a pie tin, fill with sliced apples and sprinkle fructose, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and a dash of salt over top. Cook apples until soft, then pour over apples a batter made of:

2 egg yolks
1/2 c. fructose
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. milk

When baked, turn over onto another dish and cover apples with meringue made from whites of eggs. Serve hot with cream.
