SOUR CREAM MUFFINS 
1/4 lb. butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
2 3/4 c. flour
1/8 tsp. grated nutmeg

Mix butter, sugar and salt until light. Add eggs, sour cream, baking soda, flour and nutmeg. Mix thoroughly. Pour into greased or buttered muffin tins and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen muffins.
