BACON BISCUIT BALLS 
1 lb. sliced bacon
4 tbsp. chopped green pepper
3 tbsp. chopped fresh mushrooms
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. bacon drippings

Fry bacon until crisp. Save the drippings. Snip bacon into small pieces and combine with green pepper and mushrooms. Sift together flour, baking powder and dry mustard. Mix bacon and vegetables with flour. Add combined egg, milk, and bacon drippings. Stir mixture with fork. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in a hot (425 degree) oven about 8 minutes. Serve on toothpicks with any highly seasoned dip.
