WON'T WEEP MERINGUE | |
1 tbsp. cornstarch 1/2 c. water 1/2 c. sugar 3 egg white s 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar Put cornstarch, water and sugar in saucepan. Cook until thick and clear. Cool. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until stiff. Add cooled syrup and beat for approximately 5 minutes more. Spread on pie. Bake at 450 degrees for 5-7 minutes. |
