3 egg whites
2 tbsp. cornstarch
8 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. water
Pinch of salt

Mix cornstarch, 2 tablespoons sugar, and water and cook until clear. Cool; beat egg whites and salt until forms peaks. Add cornstarch mixture, beating well. Then add the remaining 6 tablespoons sugar. Spoon on pie, bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
