CHEESE AND PASTA IN A POT 
2 lbs. hamburg
Vegetable oil

Brown, drain off excess fat.

Add:

2 med. onions
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (14 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes
1 (13 oz.) can sliced mushrooms

Simmer above ingredients 20 minutes.

Cook, drain and rinse 1/2 box (8 ounces) macaroni shells. Pour 1/2 macaroni into deep casserole dish. Cover with 1/2 tomato meat mixture. Spread 1/2 of 1 1/2 pints sour cream over that. Put 1/2 pound sliced Provolone cheese next. Repeat layers. Cover with 1/2 pound Mozzarella cheese.

Cover. Bake 35-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove cover and bake until cheese melts and browns slightly.
