LAYERED WALDORF SALAD 
DRESSING:

2/3 c. mayonnaise
2/3 c. plain yogurt
2 tsp. lemon juice

SALAD:

4 med. apples, cut into bite size pieces
1 tbsp. lemon juice
4 c. shredded lettuce
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. halved red seedless grapes
1/2 c. chopped dates
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

In small bowl, combine all dressing ingredients. Refrigerate several hours to blend flavors. In large bowl, sprinkle 1 tablespoon lemon juice over apples, toss lightly to coat. Add shredded lettuce, celery, and grape halves; toss slightly. Spoon salad onto lettuce lined plates; top with dressing and garnish with dates and walnuts.
