FRESH APPLE CAKE | |
1 c. salad oil 2 eggs 2 c. sugar 2 1/2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. baking powder 1 c. nuts 3 c. Red Delicious apples, chopped 1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch chips In large bowl mix well the salad oil, eggs and sugar. In separate bowl sift together, flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and baking powder. Add to mixture. Stir in nuts and chopped apples. Mix well. Spread in 13 x 9 inch pan. Distribute butterscotch chips on top of cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool for best results. Bake one day before serving. |
