"NEFERTITE'S DELIGHT" | |
3/4 c. sliced celery 3 cucumbers, skinned, cut into 1/2 inch pieces 1 red onion, cut into 1/2 inch pieces 1 jar Greek olives, pitted, halved, & drained 4 oz. feta cheese, cut into sm. pieces 3 tomatoes (firm ones work best), cut into 1/2 inch pieces 1 jar capers, drained 1 lg. sweet red pepper, cut into 1/2 inch pieces Good Seasons DRY Italian dressing with shaker Cut all vegetables as directed. Toss in large bowl. Toss in capers and olives. Prepare salad dressing as directed, using olive oil and red wine vinegar. Pour dressing over the vegetables. Marinate overnight. Serve cold with broiled pita bread seasoned with butter, Parmesan cheese and garlic salt. ("King Tut's Toast.") |
