OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES 
2 c. butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. brown sugar
4 eggs
3 tsp. vanilla
3 c. oatmeal, blended
2 c. oatmeal
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 (1 1/2 lb.) pkg. raisins
2 generous tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Chop up 3 cups oatmeal in blender until it is the consistency of flour. Mix in butter mixture. Add 2 cups oatmeal. Mix flour, salt, baking powder, soda, and cinnamon together. Add to butter mixture. Add raisins. Place by tablespoon, rounded about the size of golf balls onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Cookies will appear soft in the middle. That's good! Don't overcook because they will dry out. 4-5 dozen.
