WORLD'S BEST SUGAR COOKIES | |
1 c. butter 1 c. granulated sugar 1 c. confectioners' sugar 1 c. vegetable oil 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. salt 4 c. flour Cream butter, the 2 sugars, and oil. Beat in eggs; add vanilla. Combine cream of tartar, soda, and salt with flour until creamy. Store in refrigerator overnight. Heat oven to 325 degrees. Pinch off teaspoon size pieces and roll into small balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Flatten lightly with a fork. Yield: 200 cookies. |
