AUNT FANNY'S BAKED SQUASH 
3 lbs. yellow squash
1/2 c. cracker meal or bread crumbs
1 stick butter, melted
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. onion, chopped
2 eggs
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. black pepper

Wash and cut up squash; boil until just tender. Mash. Add all ingredients except butter. Pour mixture into baking dish; spread with butter and sprinkle with crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 1 hour or until brown on top.
