GERMAN APPLE CAKE AND ICING 
2 eggs
1 c. salad oil
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. diced apples
1 c. chopped walnuts

Beat eggs and oil until foamy. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Add chopped nuts and diced apples. Mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

ICING:

6 oz. cream cheese
3 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Beat cream cheese with butter and vanilla. Add powdered sugar and mix until smooth.
