CHOCOLATE CAKE 
1 box Duncan Hines butter fudge cake mix
1 sm. box instant chocolate pudding
4 eggs
1/4 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
1 (6 oz.) bag chocolate chips
3/4 c. pecans, chopped
1 container ready to spread chocolate icing

Remove 1 teaspoon cake mix and shake chips and nuts in it until coated. Set aside. Mix rest of ingredients (except icing) until smooth and fold in nuts and chips. Pour into 2 (8 or 9 inch) cake pans that have been greased and floured. Bake in oven preheated to 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Cool and frost. Garnish with pecans, if desired.
