PRETZEL SALAD 
3 oz. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
20 oz. crushed pineapple, drained
1 c. crushed pretzels
1 stick butter
1/3 c. sugar

Place crushed pretzels on a cookie sheet. Bring to a boil the butter and 1/3 cup sugar. Spread over pretzels.

Bake at 350°F for 5 minutes. Watch closely. Cool; break up.

Beat cream cheese and sugar together. Fold in Cool Whip and pineapple. Just before serving, stir in pretzels.
